SBW offers manual massage and non-invasive complimentary bodywork modalities. Massage benefits horses by bringing balance to all the body's systems including but not limited to the musculoskeletal system.
SBW offers an Advanced Equine Massage Therapist Certification (online + hybrid options available) as well as a fully online Level 1 Equine Craniosacral Therapist Certification (prior massage therapist certification prerequisite)
You can find a wide range of webinar topics in the online classroom. SBW hosts owners' massage classes each year, as well as a free wellness event each fall.
You can become a Certified Advanced Equine Massage Therapist (CAEMT) as well as a Level 1 Certified Craniosacral Therapist (CST). Both accredited with the IAAMB
SBWs classes are suitable for any level of learner!

SBW offers 4 day in person professional workshops outside of the midwest-reach out for details.
YES! You should be aware of what your state/country/region's limitations are for manual therapists. You should be able to find this out from your local vet board.

All signups are done via the online classroom.
The Advanced Therapist Class has no prerequisites, however, the Level 1 Craniosacral Therapist class does require you to be previously certified in massage.
All SBW classes are self paced-so the amount of time to complete is entirely up to you.
Basic Equine handling and understanding would be helpful but not required. All curriculum is provided.

Owners' classes range from $20 webinars to the $99 owners massage class.
One on One Owner’s instruction is available, please reach out if interested.
Non-Professional, general wellness classes range from $20-$99.
Professional level classes ranging from $450-$1500
Full online professional classes are offered in payment plans.
You would have 30 days to decide if you're unhappy with the classes, and I will honor a full refund.

SBW is a one woman show! April Schaeffer is the owner, operator, educator and mind behind it ALL.
April has a collection of Certifications accredited and CEU approved by IAAMB, NCBTMB and NBCAAM.
April became a Preferred Educational Provider #22-46 in August of 2022. SBW has been mentoring and teaching owners since 2016.

SBW teaches from a root cause prevention perspective as the foundation of equine wellness. All SBW classes focus on the why, not just the how.
