You’re allowed to do what’s best for you horse-even if others disagree
One of the biggest challenges for a majority of horse owners-is the opinion others have of the decisions they see fit for their horses.
Peer pressure is real and we all experience it to a certain extent BUT your horse depends on YOU to do what you discover is best for them.
Horses are individuals just like us and what works for your friends horse isn’t always going to work for yours.
I’ve been there and heard it all..
“You sure have a high maintenance horse”
“That horse is tough, you're babying it”
“I’ve always done it this way-and haven’t ever had a problem..”
The little super computer we all carry in our pockets everyday gives us the opportunity to consume and research things for ourselves and as much as we love the way our peers care about our horses-we can also let them know when a different way is needed for our own.
To all the advocating horse owners that think outside the “way it’s always been done box”-I see you. Keep it up. Your horse will thank you in the end.
